In 2024, "Freedom Associates" was disclosed by Glenn Church on his 20240307 filing on Schedule A1 and C as having a fair market value of 1M+ with income of 10k-100k (county filing and state bifurcated filing).
The way he listed it suggested it was some type of real estate related REIT but the address on county form was listed was just "Watsonville", incomplete, and confusing. AND the acquired date was blank meaning he had an earlier disclosure obligation or he left something out.
The state listing wsa more interesting as it referred to 195 Aviation Way ste 101, Watsonville CA 95076.
A search was done with the CA Secretary of State that exposed "Freedom Associates LLC " existed and it looked to be a match.
1) this should have been listed as "Freedom Associates LLC" not "Freedom Associates"
2) This should have been disclosed on Schedule A2 not A1 and/or B. not A1 and C given it's personally held and managed investments.
2) if there is only real estate held in that name, the filing all should have been on Schedule B with a schedule of real estate attached , not A1 and C. If there is not real estate held, it should have been on A2 and we probably need LOT more information about what this is - as it's not like it's a regulated REIT.
In 2025, Church decided he no longer wanted to report Freedom Associates. So he just removed it from Schedule A1 and C. He would need to show disposition of it he can't just remove it.
For reasons unclear, he subbed in McMac to the exact physical positoin that Freedom Associates was in prior on schedule A1. Not necessary given McMac was reported on Schedule B -- but a careless auditor may not have caught the switch out.

What you are about to follow is a trail that links folksy "Small businessman" and "Christmas Tree Farmer" Glenn Church to a Partnership involving a $12M+ commercial real estate portfolio, a complex web of LLCs all formed in 1995 just months after the Pajaro River flooding, partnerships with a Real Estate Brokre inside of LLCs, that same Real Estate Broker managing an office with 8 companies registered in it, and potential family ties to the largest Commercial Real Estate Brokerage in North America (although this last part is circumstantial and only suspect at this time)

These are likely not the proper places to report this and may have been done to create intentional confusion and to obfiscate the address which was never fully provided.

A1 -- Stock / Other - Stock or other needed to be identified and Church left those blank
A1 -- Partnership - Church checks yes and indicates income over $500 will be reported on schedule C
A1 - Acquired - Church does NOT indicate this was acquired in the prior year thus it was an omission in his prior year filing.
C - Address - Just town and state of Watsonville CA (not a full address)
C - Income - Church indicates 10k-100k
C - Church indicates "partnership" and because he used C instead of A-2, he suggests he's less than 10% partner (THEN WHO ARE THE OTHER PARTNERS IN THIS LOCAL REAL ESTATE PORTFOLIO)
2024 state filing - Freedom Associates (Real Estate Holding) shows up with the same reporting BUT the FULL MAILING ADDRESS is provided on schedule C
The contradiction with the county filing should not exist. They should be the same document.

Freedom Associates LLC is an active LLC with mailing address of 195 Aviation Way, Ste 101, Watsonville CA 95076 -- so this is the same company as Church identified. The Registered Agent is Kelly Davis.
I ran a google search for Kelly Davis and the first hits that came up were for a Kelly Jo Davis Realtor in Delware who worked for Compass. Interestingly enough, she apparently was from Southern CA but it did not seem like a match as it looked like she was full time in Delaware.
I then ran a search at the CA DRE for a Licensed Broker or Sales person and found a Real Estate Broker Kelly Jo Davis at 95 Aviation Way, Ste 101, Watsonville CA 95076. (odd that this Kelly Davis is also Kelly Jo Davis?)
This suggests Church was or is in a Partnership with a Real Estate Broker Kelly Davis -- and their office is in a building that is owned by the McMac Partnership Chjurch claimed separatly

Glenn Kramer grew up in Santa Cruz, worked consrution and then got into commerical real estate with Burgstrom. It looks like there was possible a marriage connecting Burstrom and Kramers.
His background sure sounds like that of a larger Kramer group in Denver but no direct ties can be made yet.
That said, Marcus & Millichap is a Calabassas CA company that is the largest Commercial and industrial brokerage in North America. (?)
