Her bio on Voices of Monterey Bay suggests she worked for Monterey Herald for 10 year and is now freelancing and while she could be editing for the Monterey Herald, this is all concerning because there are a lot of very newsworthy concerns presented to Glenn Church about Government, Real Estate Brokerage and Legal Lobby Corruption , and with a wife so connected to news making, but him showing no concern, it's all just very concerning.
The Concern: A writing and publishing occupation is ripe for money laundering just like Antiques. There is a concern he/she/they could easily use her occupation as a free lance writer to launder money made via other avenues such as Consulting or via paid favors or for pushing ads to a paper she's affiliated with, etc. This is not an easily auditable situation if concerns arose.
3/3/2023 -According to Church, Kathryn McKenzie is a Sole Proprietorship, he is the owner, and he makes 10-100k a year from the Monterey Herald on this business. Church has also stated in his website that he is a publisher and writer (as well as Kathryn).
