On Church's Campaign Website he stated he was
Self Employed in Nursery and Landscape Supply Business
"President, Pacific Coast Soils"
Soil consultant
Owner, Church Christmas Tree farms
Manager, Hidden Valley Water Association
I simple read of this might suggest he was doing all at that time -- but who could handle all of that at one time without a massive staff, right? Especially an "only child"
A quick internet search during his campaign was done for Pacific Coast Soils and nothing came back. It seemed a bit odd but time moved on. As a result of this SEI 700 form comfusion, deeper research was done and what has been found is concerning to say the least.
An internet search for "Pacific Coast Soils California" done on 1/9/2026 returned the following results.

Yelp - seems "odd" that Yelp suggests the profile was updated in January 2026 but Google says "Permanently Closed".
That said maybe yelp just does that without justification
Website: The website pacificcoastsoils.com returns site not found
Phone: 831-724-8032 is ______ as _____
Address: 385 Hidden Valley Road is assocaited with Glenn Church, so we have the right business.
This one and only review seems a bit suspicious. It's got a lot (too much) suggestive writing and too many details.
As you'll see later a May 1, 2015 date may come close to aligning with a new website launch.
Same address and phone number. Description matches. The note at bottom states, "Generated from available business information" -- although nothing current is available.
it's possible they just swiped it from Yelp.
At some point this company made $213,220 in a year. Unclear if this is current or prior.
If we had a D&B Account we might get a lot more information
Our Story, What we Do generally match. AS you will see this company was incorporated in 1999.
Regions and Counties Served are odd. That suggests a Bay Area Supplier and Santa Cruz County supplier when they are in Monterey County about 45-120 minutes from those Bay Area locations.
That's Glenn Church for sure. Odd how they state company was established in 1984 when it was incorporated in 1999. Sometimes people will embelish and may be referring to start as a sole proprietor or in another company name. Misleading but common.
Again this service area is odd for a small local supplier of a commodity like mulch.

The "Marina" address is interesting and concerning.
At the bottom left hand corner of page 2 is informatoin for Pacific Coast Soils and Glenn Church in "Marina".
"Marina" is about 10 miles south of his home. it is the location of the private landfill that has a private landscaping organicss there with massive mountains of mulch.
This states Church was doing 5000 tons of mulch a year. That could be $200-300k a year in mulch alone in 2006? that's a lot of mulch.
The concern with this is that it seems he may have part ownership interest in the private dump that was not disclosed -- and that could make sense given his dad'd extensive ties to the county for decades prior. Church handled business contracts with the dump for the county citizens and some seemed odd an improper. He also ignored concerns about a very expensive fee for dumping treated lumber in an illogical manner.
This appears to be an active DOT Registration for a compmany church dissolved in 2017.
