A 2006 Santa Cruz County document indicates "Pacific Coast Soils" was based in Marina. The Monterey County Dump is in Marina.
$50 treated lumber surcharge - Church was notified of predatory pricing for treated lumber at the the dump. He responded in an evasive manner. At that this time it's believed he has commercial background at the dump that prevents him from engaging properly in dialogue about the predatory situation. They are adding a $50 flat rate fee on to any treated lumber in additoin to tonnage (ie a single piece of treated 2x4, 2" long, if disclosed, results in a $50 surcharge). A scan across californai reveals this in many but not all districts. Something is very wrong.
Waste Mangement special call center - Waste Management revealed a special call center was ssetup for this area -- when asked about a "bizarrre" predatory notice they sent for an over stuffed can. Instead of a one time fee, it was mandatroy upsizing for a year. Instead of $10-30, it was $240. The standard call center could not even explain it until they got supervisory support.
Whoever is controlling the predatory dump pricing someone got WM to partition things off to do the same through them and Church approved that partitioning.
