The wayback machine was used to determine Pacific Coast Soils had a modern website online from 2015 to 2019 (even though the company was terminated in December 2017).
Concern - Contact Page
The contact page states "Where's Our Address? As we moved from being a bulk supplier to a consulting and specialty product supplier, we refocused entirely to delivering our products. We haven't lost interest in the small customer who wants an all-purpose or specialized soil mix. It is just that we supply our products only by delivery now" -
PROBLEM - the webpage they had online from 2002 to 2015 did not have their address nor Glenn Church's name on it at all. Whjen this is combined with the 2006 Santa Cruz document it's as if they never had pickup service and may have been owrking out of Marina the entire time. The problem there is an undisclosed relationshop and possible business interest material to Supervisor Duties.
Concern - About Page
As you read this, does this sound like a business that someobody would shut down after 35 years building it up? Why is there no reference to this at all online? Why was the website taken off line?
===== From Website ========
Experienced -- In 1977, Glenn Church started a nursery supply company to put himself through college. The company eventually became Pacific Coast Soils and began selling 20-30,000 cubic yards a year of soil blends. Over the years, we have changed from being solely a bulk supplier to consulting with our clients on problem soils and providing specialized products and comprehensive solutions. With over 35 years of experience producing soil mixes, selling landscape materials and consulting on home and commercial soil projects, we are knowledgeable on any soil problem that you may have.
That seems to represent over 1 Million a year in soil belnds alone. That's over $4000 a day in sales. Where was the inventory and how was it being delivered?
Glenn's Dad, (Levi) Warren Churche's Obituary states he was in the Christmas tree business by 1959 and doing that in California (Monterey Count and El Dorado County), Minnesota and Massachusets at various times -- and in the nursery supply business and into real estate. Glenn states he worked the Christmas Tree farm as a kid. By 1977, the time Glenn was entering Collge, his dad was just finishing 12 years as Supervisor -- with mounatiains of commercial connections and experience by then -- and given all that -- it seems highly unlikely Glenn started this from scratch to "put himself through college" in the sense most my assume by that prose.
Clientele - Over the years, we have worked with many clients from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Our clientele includes Stanford University, Pebble Beach Company, Graniterock, Granite Construction, University of California, State of California, Fortune 500 companies, school districts, parks departments, major hotels, cities, real estate developers, major landscaping firms and landscape architects throughout Central California.
Knowing Glenn was dealing with Fortune 500 companies, the State of CA, Real Estate Developers and Professional Firms through Central CA would have been EXTREMELY RELEVANT in considering him for Supervisor and monitoring his positions. This does NOT fit the "Christmas Tree Farmer" and "small businessman" image he portrayed.
Projects - We tackle any job. Whether your needs are one cubic yard or thousands of cubic yards, we are experienced in projects of all sizes.
How is he handline 1000 cubic yared orders? Storage and shipping? Is he "just reselling it" or did he have a vested interest in the private dump? Nothing indicates that was being drawn from inventory on Hidden Valley Road

Able to Handle the Tough Jobs
When a landscape architect on the San Francisco Peninsula couldn't find a supplier to meet the strict requirements for a rooftop soil mix at Stanford Medical Center, they turned to us. We did the job.
<shows high level of consulting expertise>
Lab tests for a high-profile project in Salinas came back with the existing soil labeled as "toxic." The general contractor, landscape architect and landscape contractor contacted us for a solution. We found it.
<this may be concerning given what is suspected about a soil cover up job for a development in the area >
In Santa Cruz, a landscape contractor was unable to find a soil to meet exacting specifications within their budget. We had it.
<why was he so much lower cost? Cash business ? Volume way beyond all others? >
On the Monterey Peninsula, a project called for 7,000 cubic yards of a custom soil blend to be delivered in stages within a narrow time frame. We filled their needs.
<this shows high level of organization and scalability. Where did that network come from? Where did it go? >

Does this sound like a business that you would just "shut down" in December 2017 and remove the website from public view? Even odder, is that there were then other webssitesite home pages started a few time after removing this one from view but the sites were not built out.
